Since opening in 2005 and undergoing further expansion in 2018, the Ciena India campus is the company’s second largest location in the world; home to more than 2,000 people and 20 percent of Ciena’s global workforce. Ciena India is the company’s largest R&D facility outside of North America, with a focus on all of Ciena’s solutions from converged packet-optical and software to Routing and Switching.
